I got the tv from a friend and didn't work. WHile I was doing research I figure I would change the crt coolant and the blue and green crt. I haven't had much luck other then someone saying its the stk chip. forgot what number 4274? something like that. HEres what it is doing. USed to turn on as soon as I plug it in. I messed with the flyback and the cable coming out. that seemed to fix it. the tv will turn on and off by the power button. When its on the screen is showing red and lines of convergance. I assume the convergence ic chip is bad. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.

Replace the convergence IC and check power resistor for leakage, if values are not exact replace them. Once the parts are in place perform the alignment.
