Just got a call on this set. Customer says black line comes horizontal
across the middle then goes away. Besides solder and caps has anyone
seen this problem? I checked all the tips I can find and nothing about this.

Went out on this and the writing on the screen is bowed across the top and bottom. Picture looks OK. When there is a banner of advertisement on the
screen it is bent.Also the picture is dark. Anyone seen anything like
this yet? Customer says a black 2" line goes across the screen every now and then, but of course it didn't do it when I was there. Convergence is OK even on the bent banners.

These have a North south pincushion board in them. Bad solder on this
board made the picture bend. The intermittent black line was caused by a
bad digital control board. This board is NLA. I replaced 31 bad caps on
this board and it works. This can be done.
