During a 1/2 second power outage/surge, my Panasonic CT36HL43G tv went from working to dead. When I turn on the tv, I get no sound or pictureeven after unplugging for hours, and the red power indicator light on the front panel blinks once every six seconds. This is some type of error code, and without a servie manual, I do not know what to do. Does anyone know what the repair is, what new parts are needed or if this is a simple fix? I would like to repair the tv myself if possible.
Thanks for any response

Dan,
This error code indicated = no 140 Volt line. Since it occured during a power surge the problem could be multiple places. Check Q854 regulator, Q551 HOT, D511 210VOLT supply these are all on the D board.
Also check D525 & C830 on the P board. Look for any expanded Electrolytic capacitors.
Hope this helps
