hi..i hope someone can help me..i live far from any city and repairman and my tv just died..
i dont have much experience in electronics but if you write simply i might be able to follow instructions..
for a year or so my tv turned on with sound but black screen..id unplug it and back and it was fine..but today when i turned it on it was white screen with horizontal lines,then it turned off.i think i smelled a plastic burn..now it wont turn on at all.

replace capacitor
C3432 100uf, 25volts

Check for anything that looks burnt if it smelled like you said it did.
