Whilst I was mounting my television on the wall, I dropped it on the floor. The television was on at the time and it was working fine and I considered myself lucky and continued watching.

However, the television obviously went off - and since this has been off it won't turn on again.

Is something that powers the TV up broken? How can I fix this quickly and cheaply?

I would assume something is broken. It's likely something just needs to be resoldered though, since dropping it probably knocked it loose.
