early 70's color admiral vacuum tube set, chassis k16-6x,i replaced all weak tubes, recapped this set, i have retrace lines at top of screen, focus is turned as high as it will go, picture is slightly blurry around egdes

yes i am, being repaired for a customer, he collects vintage electronics as do i ,i also restore them

have you rejuvenated the CRT yet? It will alter the focus range anyway. Doubt it will help with your retrace lines.

i check the crt with my bk 465 and the tube is still strong and has good emission
