Have a service call requested on Hitachi 57F59A chassis DP65G, unit
apparently will shut off and repower immediately on its own. From customer's
description, sounds like complete power-off, with power light out, no video/audio,
then resumption of power and normal operation again. Symptom is increasing
in frequency over the last 4 months. Anyone experience this on this model?
Any hints appreciated, and a copy of service manual would be invaluable!

The first thing I'd find out. Is the set plugged into a cable box A/C
outlet! Been there done that.

Have seen diodes in the main P/S and main power relay with bad solder.
Tap on heat sinks and relays and try to localize.
