Hello,
l am having an issue with my Insignia NS-55L260A13

The TV often will not turn on. I have to remove it from Power completely and plug it back in for it to turn on. (And this only helps sometimes)

I found many people having the same issue on the Insignia Forum (http://community.insigniaproducts.com/t5/Televisions/NS-55L260A13-Rev-A-Powering-off-on-its-own/td-p/72958) However there was no Technical Help given.

So I took the TV apart and started to read the Voltage values and two of them (12V and 5V pins) were Low.
There are no Bulging or leaking Capacitors.
My Question now is, how to procede with the Troubleshooting, I do not know how to move on to the next step in resolving the issue.
My next step would most likely be to take out all the capacitors and check their values, but I was wondering if you could guide me to a more efficient way in solving this.

Unfortunately the replacement board is sold out. (http://www.shopjimmy.com/dynex-151886-power-supply-unit.htm)

12V, 5V_M? - 5V_S? or both? And what do YOU consider 'Low?'

Only the 5 electrolytics between the big heat sink and the two white/white-ish 'wire' connectors. DO label location number and nomenclature off of the cap so you wind up putting the right one back in the right location.

Be aware that some of the forum posts are for Model numbers not yours, and that your reported symptom does NOT match theirs.

It might just be the lighting, but the top two of those capacitors mentioned by JTS appear to be bulging to me. I'd replace all 5 of them.

So much for the 12V and two 5V's being 'Low.'

Those new readings make me think that the Main board more than likely has a problem.

Yup, I have retaken the readings today.. I suppose the Power Supply has no issues after all.

So would you recommend replacing the Main Board ?? Or is there something else I could do.

Would seem to be the next step. Inspect yours closely first. You never know, ya might spot something.

Okay thank you very much for all the help!!

I found this part: http://www.shopjimmy.com/insignia-ns-55l260a13-e120605-157449-v-2-main-board-n7-eeprom-only.htm

Its description sounds promising to maybe repair the main board.
