I know this may just be a waste of time But I was hoping someone had the S/m for this unit. LCD/DVD Combo. DEAD.

OK, heres the fix, I though it was going to be worst than I thought.
Unit was DEAD.

When I took the back off I found C601 Shorted and slightly bulged. Its located next to the AC plug were it solder to the chassis. The 4amp fuse was blown of course. C601 is a (.33 Metalized film cap at 250v) although the s/m shows it at .22. The SA601 next to it is called a Surge absorber 470v p/n NVQZ10D471KB, But it was not damaged. I assume this unit took a lighting surge because of the bad weather we have had here, but owner mentioned none of this. Replacing the C601 with a .33 uf 250v film cap and fuse fixed the unit.
