hello i was wondering if i would to put a new tuner in it will it stop the red scrambling that appears to show on my screen sometimes,also it takes 25 seconds to turn the tv off. i noticed that my filter capacitor was a little burnt on the top so i replaced it. but the problem is still there. thanks for any help..

I am sorry but the problem discription could use some clairification. This description could be convergence, CRT(pix tube), comb filter, etc,etc. I have never seen a tuner cause any kind of color specific problem. I would be glad to try to help if you could try to describe the problem a little more clearly.

Thanks for the reply Jesse,i know this is hard for me to describe i will look into it with your advice..this prolbem occurs later on at night time.my tv has got a mind of its own.. :roll:
