I'm having problems with increasing frequency where the set will turn off while watching. will not turn on unless I unplug and replug. no pause is required. TV then operates normally. this is now happening from once to a few times a day. Same symptoms came on in the same way in 2007, professional repair replaced the auto demag assy which took care of it for 3 yrs.
A couple questions, since the TV is about 8 yrs old now, I'd like to try to keep a repair as low $ as possible. Is it likely that same replacement would solve the prob again?
Also, is there something else that could be wrong that caused it to come back or just a design issue that comes up with these?

Not sure if it matters, but at least 3 of the times it turned off was when there was a bright picture on the show we were watching, in one case I had rewound and watched the scene again and it shut off at the same place, sounds odd but thought I'd throw that in in case it helps.
thanks for any advice or thoughts.
