We have a Panasonic CT36HX42F CRT HDTV , manuf. 10/02, that suddenly shut off the other night while viewing. The unit then wouldn't respond to either the remote or the switch on the chassis. I unplugged it for 30 min and tried the switch and the indicator light came on for a few seconds. Then the unit beeped and the indicator light blinked a couple of times and the light went out and the unit powered off. Again the unit then wouldn't respond to either the remote or the switch on the chassis. The picture and sound never started. I then unplugged all incoming cabling except direct cable antenna and left it unplugged overnight and tried the switch again the next day with exact same result. Picture and sound never started. I am wondering if its worth trying to fix or not and how much that might cost. Thanks for any help possible.
