John, I don't have the schem. but I think I had one awhile ago and I changed
the regulator and a few caps in the SMPS primary circuit. I believe the fuse
went also.

Find the service manual here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?yjzxz9jzgnm
This is a Panasonic manual, not a pdf file. After you unzip it navigate down through the directory structure to the 'SVC' directory. Inside there find the file 36sl13g.html and double click. The manual will open up in your browser and you will probably have to click a few things to allow the content to display properly.
If you don't have winrar to unzip the file, find it here:

Good luck.

It is true. I have few case as this. the first one I checked it at two hours to make sure no any other problem then replace the same rating fuse. it was failed again few weeks later. I check it again, but can not find out any parts get problem.
Next way. is to change another degauss resister that have higher ohm at 8----to 10 ohms. The degauss effect is not better than the old original resistor.

I have been replacing the thermistor with RCA 207768 for some time with no problem. That 'special fuse' could cause you and your customer a lot of problems. Might as well do like the customers do and wrap tin foil around it.

On this case to finish the repair, install a slow blow fuse.-
