Please help on Panasonic PT-51HX42F convergence
problem. I have customer call for service on this
model. At the beginning I thought it is STks problem I
only ask for $250.00 for fix it. After put in the
Stk392-110. It remain the same thing. The RGB lin
can't overlap on each other. some trace are not
straight line. and the TV shut down after three minute
with three time flashing light. after look at the
service manual It is still convergence problem.
This model enter service mode method is very
complicated. Any idea please teach me. I will email
you the service manual.

Ming try checking the power resistors there may be a 2.2 ohm resistor
open.. in my experience the 2 stk's should be replaced . not just one.
and the power resistor always open.

Did you change both STK's? Did you check the yoke return resistors?
If those are good, probably the problem is in the conv. control circuit.

Ming, Did you check the Low ohm resistors They are all 2.2 ohm 1 watt.

R7048 ,49 , 50 ,53 ,56 ,59.

I have check 6pcs 2.2 ohm resistor. When I remove two
STKs and before put in the new one. I checked all
resistor around STKs use digital meter.

I have a panasonic model pt-51hx42f and one the convergence side i have a rister burned up.It it a R7066.Can anyone help me.I don't have no service manual.The set cuts off as soon as you cut it on and the high voltage hits it.I need the resistance of that resistor and a copy of the parts list or service manual.

Replace the burned up resister will get your set back on again.R7066.
