Hello , can anyone point me in the right direction .. I have a Panasonic PT53TW53G that shuts down right after power up and the led flashes every 7 to 8 seconds ... Looks to be Code 1 ? Ideas on what to look
for ... I have 125volts going to it ... Please any help would be great !

Possible failed components are:
D502 Diode
C509 Cap on collector of HOT
Q551 HOT
Flyback

I found one R517 burnt in 2 .... I know there is another chip that caused it .. but unshure .. so Im going to start testing ....
Do you know how I would disconect the projection Wire ? The big red one
so I can get the board out to check ..??

Best option is to disconnect from the splitter. Slide the boot up the wire, push in, twist 1/8~1/4 turn either direction and pull out.
Can be a little tricky.
