This set came in with blown fuse. Replaced fuse and it has played for sometime now. Does anyone have any history on this set. I cannot find any reason for the blown fuse.
TIA

As per Panasonic factory tech assist:
1. use a slo-blo type fuse
2. an off tolerance or defective degause thermistor can
also cause this problem

May just be a fuse that stressed.
Not a particular advice for Panasonic...but fused blowing at turn
on..might be wise to check the "degaussing" circuit for bad solder..or
the actual device.

Did you unplug the degauss coil to see if it still blows fuses? If so then
perhaps the thermister is bad. Just an added thot.

Thanks Terry:
The customer told me that they had a power surge and it wouldn't play after
that. I didn't know that before they picked it up.
