We have a Panasonic CT27G6E tv that has a great picture, but the sound has died. When we turn on the tv, the sound works. 10 minutes later, the sound closes down. You can watch the sound bar on the screen go from a high setting to zero all by itself. Tv year is 2001. Is this worth fixing? Thank you, Alan

Most obvious place to start is "Volume Down" switch itself. Remove switch from circuit board.

Yes as maxwell Smart would say its the Old cleaner on the screen dribbling in trick.
