This set has no power and has a shorted surface mounted device (location of 7404) must be a scr or similar device. Has anyone had a similar problem? Is there a known fix or is this the only part bad. This is a Philips warranty repair but I don't do smaller sets as a rule. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tim

hi,check c2455 and replace transistor 7461.This is a common problem,Jim
