I have a 3 year old Philips 42PF3720A plasma television that all of a sudden during a movie went black with red pixles and lines flashing on the screen with no picture at all. The sound still works, channels and inputs will change but no picture only the flashing red colors. It flashes at a steady rate. I figure it must be some sort of controller board or something and have tried retriving the error codes via the LED blink method described in the service manual but there seems to be no errors.
The tv starts up fine and like I said appears to be working fine other than no picture with the only the flashing red colors on the screen. Any ideas? |
