Hi Everyone --
This is my first post. Maybe someone out there has had experience working on this TV. I need help.
I have a 25 inch RCA TV manufactured September 1979 in Bloomington, Indiana.
Chassis Type: CTC92K
Model No: GD702T
Serial No: 93851
Other ID No: 2835
It came in a fine wood furniture piece, with a swivel base.
It has provided excellent service for 32 years! I replaced picture tube about 10 years ago. Before that I think it was repaired one other time. Otherwise no problems.
HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED --
About two weeks ago it went dead -- no sound, no picture. When I turned it on -- nothing.
HERE ARE MY QUESTIONS --
What do you think went wrong?
It it worth it to get it fixed?
Can I fix it?
Thanks for your ideas!

Probably a lost cause, but unless repair involves a part that was only used by RCA that is no longer available (flyback, yoke, tuners, etc.) most semiconductors and passive components (capacitors, resistors, etc.) should be obtainable.
Power Supply and Horizontal deflection circuits are hardest working areas and should be where you should start troubleshooting.
