When set first came in regulator was shorted.
Replaced.
Set came on, after playing for awhile regulator and horiz. output start running hot. Tried this a couple of times.
Checked CR4112 with ohmeter and checked bad.
Replaced.
Now set will not start up.
Tried original diode back in the set, and still will not start up.
Voltages on regulator:
Pin 1: 0
Pin 2: 0
Pin 3: 0
Pin 4: 2.1
Pin 5: 1.6
Pin 6: 1.5
Pin 7: -.3
Pin 8: 0
Pin 9: 0
Pin 11/12: 161

Appreciate any help.

Roger,
Please do not take offense at anything I say since I must make some assumptions because of the name you logged on under. Since I am assuming that you do this for a living, tell me about yourself and what equipment you have to work with. Do you have chipper-check diagnostic hardware? Do you have Technical literature, etc etc.
Please answer the first paragraph so that I do not insult you or your knowledge.

CR4112: Did it check bad in circuit or out? Did you check with a meter that had a diode position on it? Did it check a direct short in diode position or did you check it using the Ohm scale and the front-to-back ratio.

There are a ton of things that fail on this chassis, Please tell me in precise terms what you have done to date.
