|
|
We can go through all the convergence steps in Level 1
(3x3), level 2 (5x5),
and level 3 (13x15) in the "convergence
alignment" menu, but once we get to
"store" on the menu we can't the put a check
mark in the box next to
"store". We've tried right clicking and
we've tried holding "ok" down on the
remote but either of those actions just take us to next
menu which says
"stores default" and "sensor
calibration." We're using page 3-10 (alignment
procedures) for an ITC222 from an RCA ESI CD. It seems like
we've been
through this before but can't see what we're doing
wrong or a step we're
leaving out.
(This is the tv that originally came in with the damper
capacitor broken
loose, a shorted HOT and a resulting cracked green crt.
Another tech was
kind enough to send us a used crt). It'll look great
especially if we can
save these convergence settings.
Any help appreciated. |

Jeff, here it goes.
STORE DEFAULT
SENSOR CALIBRATION..
Put Cursor on "STORE DEFAULT"... Press OK down for 3 seconds.
The Box beside "STORE Default now will be checked. NOTE: IT MUST HAVE
A CHECK MARK TO SAVE THE LAST ADJ.
LAST, put Cursor on "SENSOR CALIBRATION".. Press OK button.
Alignment should now be in memory.
Remember: "STORE DEFAULT" must have a check mark in that box or memory will be lost.... Hilton |

| So we don't have to check the "store" button on the previous menu? |

Converging my first ITC222 was a bad thing! I worked 2 days going by the manual, but it wouldn't keep the settings. After I finally figured the thing out, I made myself notes step by step and repeated them on several sets since and have had no problems. My problem is I can't remember stuff!!
My wife keeps telling me I can't hear also!.... Hilton |
