I turn on the Tv and the picture looks great. once the Tv has warmed up then alll of a sudden the picture looks 3-D and the colors are off. the picture looks bowed in as well. I was wondering if this means that the convergence chips are going bad or where I would start. thanks so much for your help.

| Ok I have order the parts. but I have a question. I see some places charge over $40.00 each for the STK392-560 and other places charge $5.99 each. they both offer a 6 month warranty on the part. should I purchase the cheaper one? |

As long as the site is reputable and sells 'original brand name' (Sanyo, for example) parts, you should be OK.
Although I've personally never had a customer come back who had opted for 'el cheapo,' you hear all sorts of horror stories about using them. |

| I have pulled PS5001 and tested and it is testing good. I have pulled c5018 and tested with tester and it is testing good. is it possible that it is just the two STK chips. |

| I went ahead and replaced C5018 35v 1000ufd and replaced Both STK392-560. I was sure to clean off the heat sink and re apply a good amount of heatsink compound. tested TV for 2 hours and not a problem. Thanks again for all of your Help. |
