I just replaced lamp and ballast on my Samsung DLP tv (2006). I was very careful to use gloves and didnt touch the lamp bulb at all. Reset lamp timer, everything was working wonderful. Watched tv approximately 2hrs last night, turned on this morning within 15min there was a loud pop and the screen went black again. What would cause the lamp bulb to pop Question

I'd probably get in touch with the seller and ask about a warranty replacement.

Also make sure any fans are operable.
