Hi, Please help.....Samsung DLP TV model
HL-P5063W....heavy hum as a big ship horn.
To-day I have customer call for service on this DLP
TV.
It can be turned on, but before the screen lit up. It
product a very loud hum and the TV cabinet vibrate
fiercely, then lamp LED lit up and then shut down. The
sound is very likely the horn of very big ship. I
don't know what happen to IT. I took back the Lamp
bulb, the lamp ballast, the main power supply board,
as to morrow I have another DLP TV at the same model
and same manufacturer. This other TV only the lamp
bulb burn out and the ordered new lamp bulb arrived me
yesterday.
If I put in the power board to test it. It is not the
problem location. I will not know what , where is the
location of the problem.

the only thing thats gonna sound like a buzzsaw is shot berrings in the
color wheel.

Yes, you are right, the color wheel indeed broken. It
is my first time open the light engine to look at the
inside, But the LCD section I did not open it yet, As
I don't want to create new problem.
