Here's the deal!
Replaced the Convergence ICs and resistors in the convergence circuit today.
Plug the tv in, hear it chirp or squeal and then I get a 5 blink error code.
I can hear the audio pop up for about a second but it sounds just like the circuit was kicking up.
I have replaced all the high voltage capacitors already, soldered the crap outta the board cause we all know Samsung is big for solder cracks.
I even removed the tape across their add on components on the bottom of the board and found some cracked joints on the two resistors next to the yoke plug.
Horizontal output checks fine. There is something I'm missing in the supply. Anybody fix this before? |
