Riddled TV Repair Forum

Good morning, all, and a happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating. As you can see, I'm new to the forum, and I am looking for help identifying a problem with my TV. I'm hoping that the problem can be resolved in a cost efficient manner.

This problem started about a month ago and has gotten increasingly worse. As you will see by the video posted below, the screen pixilates for a good 10 to 20 minutes after the TV is first turned on. After the TV has been turned on a while, the picture returns to normal. Unfortunately, the delays are becoming more and more lengthy with time, and they are quite annoying! I've also noticed that a humming sound is coming from the back of the TV, which I believe is associated in some manner with the picture problems described above. It has a sort of droning sound to it that speeds up, slows down, speeds up, etc. This stops once the picture returns to normal.
