Hi, I have A Samsung Plasma Hp-s4253x/xaa. The TV works fine if I use the
buttons on the side, but when I use the remote (any button) the tv will restart. It dose this with the remote that came with the tv and the remote that works through the cable box. I think I need to replace ether the main board or the power supply. Can anyone tell witch board would cause this problem? Thanks

Unless the power supply has a dedicated supply just for remote operations, I think you can rule that out. Wink

They will use the stand-by 5 volt source for the "brains" (microprocessor) and the remote, so if its up to snuff, you should be good there.

I'll order a main board and get back to you later to let you know how things worked out. Thanks
