Hi, when you plug in our 46" tv the relay keeps clicking, the red light on the front blinks and it will eventually come on after about 15 minutes, then it works fine and will turn off and on like normal. We replaced the capacitors that have caused this issue for some people(the old ones were not bulging or leaking), but we still have the same problem. Someone mentioned maybe the video board itself is bad, but would it still come on and play fine if that was the case? I appreciate any help you can give.

We researched the Samsung clicking problem online and saw there were a lot of problems with the capacitors, so we ordered some and changed them. There were 8 of them, they were in a cluster on the right side of the board.

Samsung has had electrolytic problems for decades, starting with the use of substandard ingredients formulated to produce degraded parts.

Take it with a grain of salt guys, sage91998 read in on the Internet...

So NO Location numbers? Board Part numbers (there appear to be two)?

Is there a specific number of LED blinks? Or is it just a constant on/off pulse?

As a professional TV repairman, I've come across this problem numerous times. I have found, and Samsung confirms this, the problem is on the main module. The most effective way and cost efficient way to repair is to have your PC board repaired. I have used this seller several times successfully to replace two surface mounted intergrated chips on the main board.
Find them on Ebay at this site: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-LN46A550P3FXZA-Main-Board-REPAIR-SERVICE-TV-Cycling-On-and-OFF-/131486657550
Kevin also offers lifetime warranty on his repair! Send him your board!
