I need the complete model number and the version number to get the correct part number. The version number should be on a tag on the right edge of the set.

LCD power supply are always bad CAP problem. if no any mark of visible component burn out, it should check.......1./ check all caps, sometimes need to take away it from the board then ESR it. 2./ find out which output pin is on/off control, and which one is stand by 5V. On/off pin is very easy to find out,...... method look at each pin from the pin into the copper trace, there would be only one pin via a resistor at about 10K then goes into one SM transistor, and make sure this Transistor is the B pin of it. This output terminal is on/off pin Use a jumper connect it to 5V stand by output pin. Then all the output is OK working. It will have 24V, 12V, 5V, 3.3V..... Recently I meet one power board have one more pin it is for back light inverter Dim control. This is especial case for the Power board build with Back light invert so that the Dim pin goes to power board.
If there is component burn out. Then need to buy a new one. 90% of power board can be fixed. Now I find out more IC data sheet Data website that will give you SM IC data sheet. The problem is going to be much easier than one year or two years earlier.
The first power supply unit I can not fix it and had to buy a new one at $110.00 from viewsonic for my customer and only can charge for $290.00 including four time traveling, and use 6 months. Now repair price is dropping, power board only can charge at $180.00 to $250.00, if it is no other parts has problem, it is very good profit.
Did you try to look at it, then buy a new one? IC number is not easy to look at even use magnifier, but you can apply small bit of the size at a match head of white heat sink compound to the marking then use a tissue paper wipe it off. the marking will more visible and many times it is very clearly under magnifier glass with light.
This way you can understand the design approach, how the engineer works on making power supply.
By a new one sometime it is not so good to customer and us. We make money for the manufacturer. When next time it get problem, the customer will not fix it again. no- body will fix it twice at $300.00 for a TV dropping price at $500.00 to $700.00.
If charge it at $180.00, he will fix it once more and will introduce you whose friend
to you.

BN44-00109A does appear to be the correct part number. Samsung has it in stock. Dealer cost is $68.14. There is no core charge.
