why edit/remove all your posts? how about you leave your problems and solutions here so somebody else can benefit from what you learned?

I'm pretty sure they did just make one 60" model... and it was really heavy. I still can't believe they actually used concrete blocks in them at one time.

check the power supply first.

those fans should be DC, so there's no reason they should be ticking 60 times per second.

I suspect a power supply problem.
What are the voltages at the fan input?

I'd start with electrolytic capacitors in the vertical deflection circuit.

Which gnd are you using. If its earth ground 1/2 of your b+ makes sense. Usually earth ground is in the middle of the bridge rectifier.

You could check the fuse. Outside of that it sounds like you're probably not qualified to make repairs.
