does anybody encountered this kind of trouble, power shuts down immediately after 3 seconds on sharp tv 21v-fr300 any input is appreciated.

B-plus too high?

For 3 seconds - Does set operate normally? Has pix/snd?

JTS1957 thanks for the reply, it is not operating normally, no picture/no sound here are the things i monitored

1. B+ 130v (regulator STRW5453A new already)
2. 9V supply IC 801 KA78R09 going to jungle IC M61250CF Vcc is shutting down.
3. pin1 of 9V regulator IC 801 is shutting down immediately
4. pin17 (power ) of system IC 1001 IXA983WJ is shutting down also, it is going to pin1 of 9v regulator (switch).
5. 9V regulator IC801 is ok checked by supplying external 5v supply to pin1 it gives steady 9v output but still HV is shutting down.
6. pin28 of jungle IC (power on) and pin29 of system IC (power on ) is shutting down together also.
7. protect pin7 at system IC 1001 is 4.8v same as indicated in the diagram
8. system IC, jungle IC, vertical IC and flyback is already replaced.

Guys I solved already my headache, it was the vertical IC. I replaced another new vertical IC from different retailer and it works.....I was given a fake IC!!!
