After leaving this set unplugged for a day or so, it will not turn on. After sitting for a while it may turn on after the power button depressed. It has 5V always and power supplies seem to be operational. Some weird logic problem I suppose? Anyone seen this one before?

On the tv/vcr/dvd combos I've replaced a few of the x1201 crystals. They would run 2 days and not turn back on.

Makes sense if the oscilator of the micro stops or is interrupted. Thanks for the tip Scott.
