have a Toshiba 23HLV85 lcd that won't turn on.
The power led is red but nothing else happens.
Don't have a manual but there is 5vst=5v on the power supply where indicated on the pcb. The other volts are very low but this could be normal if they are switched (24v=3.4, 15v=0.36, 33v=.018, DPM=4.3), no direct shorts on any of the power sources. Q200 has 150v but it's not running.
Anyone have a manual or a tip? |

| Gary, No tips on that one, but my first hunt would be the power supply caps, seem like they are a big factor in these LCD's |

| check for shorted or leaky diodes, caps in secondary; leaky caps('lytics)in primary. Sounds like shut-down; unplug Driver boards and see if it powers-up.(power LED goes green) This would indicate bad Driver, which you may not be able to fix.(replace only). |

| LCD TVs are all power supply Cap Dry out, If you use ESR meter check it it will show you very bad caps. some are near dead, some are yellow reading and near red reading, even normal reading those are all low reading. over 10uf caps are all near full reading. |
