Toshiba Model# CX21319--Tac 8907--Sams 2707-2 vertical foldover on top need print to find the parts to check
Hi need some help with this vert chip was bad also found 5 electro caps
bad now I have top foldover
I cant seem to find any more caps to check in the vert circuit need the

Eric , Were the caps you replaced C 301, 305 , 306 , 308, ... 301 is up by
the vudeo IC 501 and is usually red . Also I have change C305 and with the
same voltage cap and had to use a higher voltage because it did as what your
talking about. It mite have been the brand of caps I had , not sure but
always used a 250 v. ( which is what I had ) and it worked

Hi Gary I replaced them first and more caps now I have full screen and 4
inches foldover on top..eric |

it is possible that if you powered up your set with a new
vert out IC but before changing some of the caps that it
may have damaged the new IC , this especially applies to
c308 - have u tried a new
vert out?

If you replaced the IC before the caps you may have blown the new IC,
also rca SK-- ic's can cause that to

hi all I first replaced the caps that were bad I had the same thing not
enough vert sweep them I changed the chip
and got full screen with fold over..I just replaced the chip again and
it,s ok now.both chips were new ones but
possible 1 was bad..Oh well live and learn everyday..Thanks to all who
helped..Eric |

Eric and others, whenever I replace caps I will use 50V for 25V. and 63V for
the 50V ones. They get stressed very badly in vertical circuits because of
the 60 hertz signals / spikes present there.
