My 6 yr old sent the wii remote into our sanyo 42" lcd tv model # dp42647-03. No visible damage when off, but when turned on, looks like a ball hit it and it has green and red lines going up and down. Is this repairable, and if so, how much for the part or parts.

Quicker, easier, safer and cheaper (in the long run) to replace the set.

Plexiglass box to enclose all except back of your next unit couldn't hurt. Smile
