Once again I would like to thank you for the help on my Toshiba CX32D60 it is working great!
Now my daughter just bought a Zenith, B27A11Z from a garage sale and it is missing green. Is there fix for this? She has used the manual adjustments to no avail and wants me to perform your magic on it. Hope you can help! Thanks in advance  |

I'm not very optimistic about this one, because I suspect that the CRT is bad. And those are usually more than the cost of a new TV, making them cost prohibitive to replace... But we can check a few things before we give up on it.
First, check R5110 (120K Ohms) This is a resistor on the circuit board that is plugged into the neck of the CRT.
You'll want to use your ohmmeter and measure the resistance between both metal points of the resistor.
Post back once you have checked that. I need to look up some things before I go any further. |

Finally I have a chance to get back to you!!! Sorry it took so long... have issues with renters and had several hours of home repairs after evicting them
I checked out the part you told me about and got speratic readings so I replaced it.... I could not get a 120 and the guy at radio shak said to put a 100 + 2 10's together to make a 120.... well I did and got the green back but no other colors LOL so I took that out and tried just using a 100 and that did no good so I placed a 100 + 10 and now we have pretty good color (yellows, oranges so forth) I am checking out Radio Shak here in the next town for a 120 and hopefully this will solve the problem totally :-) once again thanks so much! |

| I was just leaving of the K (funny) I was typing and answering the phone at work... which was ringing crazy this morning. Have no fear.... I am very observant and cautious when taking you advise to follow it to the letter. I truly appreciate all the help you have given me. I will be getting back to you very soon. I have inherited a Sony 53" tv that I am told has volumn and no picture. My x-son in law is bringing it over in the next day or so.... he said that what ever is wrong with it is apparently a common problem among this set.... but I do not know model number or anything about it yet. :-) so I look forward to chatting with you soon :P |
