tv came in last week lost video had sound, now it has neither set just makes a whining sound, i have been going through my collection of rcc service manuals and haven't found anything for that tv yet

Wendell,

This is a Very, Very, Very old set. Most of the sets of this era have bad CRT's. If the CRT checks good look for expanded caps in the power supply section or use the 9-*** and order a rebuilt board.

i recapped the power supply still whining i do get a red dot on the screen for a few seconds, then nothing it does sound like something is being loaded down i do have high voltage from the fbt.
i sent out an email on a rebuild board last week and i haven't heard nothing back yet
